2004 Grady-White Marlin 300

Anacortes, Washington

$139,000

The Marlin 300, the highly successful model that's been in the Grady-White lineup since 1989. The 300 still rides on the SeaV2 hull that Grady introduced back in 1989 as a solution to softening the ride of smaller fiberglass boats in rough water. The anchor is dropped and retrieved through the center of the pulpit instead of off a roller at its tip. This is a typical big-boat feature, along with 316 stainless steel latches and hardware. Wonderfully equipped boat that's extremely popular with fishing or cruising! This boat has a Garmin plotter, a Furuno radar, a Ray marine autopilot and a Icom VHF radio. She's ready to fish!

The owners of "Seas the Day" are extremely experienced PNW boaters. They fished remote areas in Canada and maintained the boat impeccably so that it was always reliable.

Manufacturer Provided Description

Grady-White has masterfully redesigned the company?s walkaround cabin model Marlin 300 for 2004. The result is all new detailing?from the tip of the new bow pulpit to the back of the completely reconfigured transom, and from the cockpit seating and helm and companion areas down into the roomy and handsome cabin. The Marlin, like the Express 330, now has a handsome teak and holly cabin sole. And like the 330, there is a very nice, sturdy teak dining table. In the 300, the teak table stows away conveniently allowing more room for the comfortable vee berth, which is surrounded by a teak storage rack. The galley?s cabinet top sports a durable Corian cutting board. The board lifts away to reveal a roomy cooking surface. A refrigerator and microwave complement the other cooking appliances. The enclosed head finishes the cabin and it is plenty tall enough for growing teens to shower in comfort. Up on deck, starting at the bow, the newly designed bow pulpit is easier to use. As with every Grady-White, safety features abound. The deep wide walkaround is covered with Grady?s tried and true nonskid, and the handholds are always right where they're needed. Up under the standard hardtop with its cavernous electronics area, the changes and fine-tuning continue. The helm station offers a newly designed optional flush-mount kit to enhance electronics visibility. Grady?s standard backlit switches, right at the helmsman?s hand, are another real safety and confidence asset, especially on early morning fishing trips or during inclement weather. Starboard side, there?s a complete rigging station with freshwater sink, an insulated bait box and lockable tackle drawers standard. And the transom is entirely redesigned. Portside on the transom, there is a removable box, great for storage or as a catch all on cruising days. The centerpiece of the transom is a cavernous 290-quart insulated fish box topped with a nice cutting board. There?s a freshwater shower on the transom, too.
