 C&C 61’ Ketch Bluewater Sailboat

Sea Globe is a custom C&C 61’ Ketch Blue water Sailboat ready for Working remote, Live aboard, Charter, or Cruising.  This C&C is one of 7 with famous sister ships that have done extensive racing and world cruising.  Excellent lines, very comfortable and spacious.  This boat has successfully circumnavigated and has been updated and prepped for another circumnavigation. Current owners have been living aboard since 2020 cruising through Southeast Alaska. Lots of Duplicity on board for safety and a large amount of new spare parts and updates done in preparation for a long world voyage. Included in the list of updates is a custom swim step and ladder, dingy davit, Bullfrog dingy with 25hp Yamaha, and surround Bimini with dodger cover for comfort of travel that can be unzipped and rolled for easy access for sailing or left down for bad weather.  Recently painted 2 coats on the hull with Antifoul paint Micron CSC Blue in 2022. Handheld marine radio and new marine band radio still in box.  Added usb ports and updated exterior, interior, & cockpit lighting, new illuminated compass at helm.  New Interior paint, carpet, fans, and features throughout, with regular maintenance done, this boat is ready to head out on its next adventure.  4 separate rooms.  With Aft suite and mid cabin suite.  7 single bunks and 1 double bunk this boat can sleep 9.  The kitchen table pulls out to make room for a large group or keep it small for more cabin space.  This has a modified keel with a max prop and is very comfortable and stable in the water.  Sails are in great condition and have sail bag covers.  Plenty of storage for food as current owners had around 6 months of food stored between dry, can, fresh, and frozen on board.  Great storage for living aboard or long-term cruising and very comfortable for chartering with separated living and heads for both areas. "Ketch" is a well-appointed spacious vessel with companionways mid ship and aft.  You enter into the main salon from the mid-ship companionway and step on the teak and holly cabin sole.  The main salon is very comfortable, welcoming and quite spacious.  She has ample headroom, large ports that provide a light and airy feel.  There is an L Shaped settee and a beautiful dining table to starboard with high gloss finish.  To port in the main salon is the chart table/navigation station.  Just aft of this is a wet bar with additional counter and storage places, all convenient for daily living and entertaining.  Mid-ship is the engine room with work bench giving easy access and space to work on the engine port.  Forward and to the starboard is a head with a vanity, sink, and shower.  This head has a fresh water electric flush toilet, a nice feature when living aboard.  as you continue forward to the bow there are 2 staterooms with upper and lower sea berths to port and starboard, both areas fitted with storage lockers and shelves.  There is also a washer/dryer combo in a storage locker forward.  In the forepeak there is a chain locker and large storage locker.  

Moving aft from the main salon down the port-side you will find more storage compartments, a new never used spectra Water maker, the main instrumentation and breaker panels.  The aft stateroom has a single berth to port and double berth starboard with settee, a large vanity and storage drawers in-between. Forward and starboard is another head equipped with toilet, sink and shower.  A companionway ladder leads up to the center cockpit.  There is also VHF radio in the aft stateroom.  All accommodations are fitted with bright work trim and wood cabin soles.  There is ample storage throughout the boat making it possible to cruise for months with plenty of provisions.
